The median house price in particular is interesting however keep in mind that not only is it reflecting the price changes but also development in an area can greatly effect the market median house price. For example if an area's median house is a standard 4 Bedroom 2 Bathroom single storey home however in recent years those properties have been demolished and replaced with larger Mc Mansions then this greatly will increase the median house sale price. You more than often experience these changes in sleepy holiday towns or undeveloped desired location areas such as beaches.
