Things on in Bunbury this December

 

The city of Bunbury has scheduled a number of events for this holiday season since Christmas is both quickly approaching and already here.

 

Christmas in the City

Christmas in the City is the main holiday celebration in Bunbury this year. Make your way to the Bicentennial Square to take in all the festivities for this year's two-day event; there is something for everyone. The event takes place from Saturday, December 10th, through Sunday, December 11th. The two-day event's schedule includes food trucks in Bicentennial Square, a cavern maze, trampolines, a circus skills training, a screening of The Santa Clause outside, an aerial act, and a carol concert. Hit 95.7 Street Parade

There will be a parade down Stirling Street on December 11th. Make sure to arrive early to get a seat near the front before the street procession starts at 6:30 p.m.

Philharmonic Southwest Orchestra Christmas Concert

The Christmas Concert Waltzing through Christmas, performed by the Philharmonic Southwest Orchestra, will be held on Sunday, December 4 at Quality Lighthouse Resort Ballroom. Bunbury museum and heritage centre

A workshop for making community Christmas cards is being held from 1st to 23rd of December at the Bunbury Museum and Heritage Centre. Where you express your holiday joy through writing or drawing on a card intended for a resident of the nearby care facility. On Christmas Eve, the Museum team will deliver every card.

Teddy bear roadshow at Anzac park

On December 8th, the teddy bear roadshow will take place at Bunbury Anzac Park. Visit the park for holiday activities like teddy bear picnics! Bunbury Public Library Events

On December 12th, a tech discussion about online shopping will be held at the Bunbury Public Library. Also at the Bunbury Public Library there will be a Christmas event with crafts, morning tea, and a movie will take place on December 15th. A Celtic Christmas

2022 Dalyellup Community Christmas Festival

The Dalyellup collective will be hosting this year’s Christmas festival on Sunday the 4th of December. The festival is at the Central Lakes Park, there will be plenty to do for all ages. Christmas Bauble Paint and Sip at the Art Gallery

Bunbury Massive Messes – Christmas Theme

On Monday the 12th of December, Milligan House Child Care Centre will be hosting a messy play Christmas themed. If your kids love a range of sensory and messy play activities this is for you. This is a toddler friendly environment that allows kids to make as much mess possible in a safe environment with toddler taste proof products. This activity is recommended for 6 months to 5 years.
